Come and enjoy the lovely woodland tracks and quiet bridleways of Highwood, which takes in the wide grassy tracks of Fingrith Hall on the long route. The ride has three distance options of approximately 9 miles, 6 miles and 4 miles (perfect for lead rein).
Equine Influenza and Strangles Precautions: Please be aware of the signs and symptoms and do not attend if your horse has a raised temperature or a nasal discharge (which is not usual for your horse).

IMPORTANT: Do not follow Satnav or Google Maps. Only approach the site from the A414; from the Ongar direction or from Chelmsford (Widford church roundabout). Do NOT approach from Ivy Barns Lane. Please ensure your driver has this information.
