Starting and ending from the picturesque Little Easton Manor CM6 2JN we ride across open fields on this lovely hack in the Essex countryside. Route to be confirmed, but it will be between 8-10 miles with no short option

There will be food and drinks available. Bring the family and make a day of it, there's a lovely tea room and the surrounding area is very picturesque https://www.littleeastonmanor.co.uk/

Members get priority booking, it will be opened to non members about a week after first opening if numbers allow.

Note after ride: Used the route from the end of Cobbs Lane straight down to Jacks Lane by way. Can use wide grass verge and no one complained about the road work this year. We do however need to warn about the 2 bridge crossings next time, the wide one over the A120 seemed to cause more issues.

Hatfield Forest (Saturday)Elgins Car Park, Hatfield Forest, Takeley, Essex, CM22 6NE 15/06/2024

THIS RIDE IS CONFIRMED AS GOING AHEAD

A chance to ride in this wonderful ancient forest on wide grassy clearings and tracks between the trees.  The route is to be confirmed and is subject to ground conditions, but we will be aiming for around 10 miles for the long route and 7 miles for the short. We hope to be able to contain the short within the forest (no roads). The longer route will have some minor road work.

The ride price has been increased to £20.00 to cover additional costs which are being subsidised by EBA. This ride is open to Members only initially and will be opened to non members after a weel if there are still places available as we are restricted to 100 entries only.

Flu Vaccination requirements for this ride are that all horses attending must be up to date with their annual flu injections (ie.the last booster is no more than a year old). Random checks may be made so please remember to bring along your horse passport.
