Some of our members have advised us that Network Rail has closed a number of bridleways which cross railway lines without seeking permission through Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders. Clicking the link below will show a photo of a closure on a bridleway in the Billericay area. These TTROs should be sought from Essex County Council and permission is then considered for temporary closure. It is important that Network Rail continues to use the proper procedures and at EBA we are keen to know of any closures that you come across when out riding.
