Welcome to our web site
Essex Bridleways Association is a registered charity formed in 1979 to enable horse and pony riders, walkers and countryside users in Essex to:
- Preserve and maintain existing bridleways
- Restore old rights of way, many that have been lost through incorrect classification and are not registered on the Definitive Map
- Create new bridleways
All of our events are now available on our Events Page. We look forward to seeing you throughout the year and please remember to also make a date to help marshal on at least one EBA ride in 2015. Please contact Sandra Deeran firstname.lastname@example.org with your preferred date to help. Thank you.
Middlewick Ride Sunday 29 March - We are in luck - the fields have dried out enough to allow us to take more riders so we have re-opened entries. Entries will close at 9.00pm on Friday evening. We will also take Entries on the Day for ride times between 9.00am - 10.00am. If you are coming on the ride, don't forget the clocks go forward on Saturday night/Sunday morning.
URGENT - MARSHALS ARE STILL REQUIRED FOR THIS RIDE (AFTERNOON SESSION)
Please consider whether you (or a friend) would be willing to give up maybe just half a day to help us. Volunteers are entitled to a free ride entry or free EBA membership for helping. If you can help at this ride please contact Lisa Guy on email@example.com
Berwick ride on Sunday 19 April is now open for entries; if you missed out on the Middlewick ride, make sure you get your entry for Berwick in soon.
If you would like to support the work carried out by Essex Bridleways Association, your donation would be welcome
