The EBA Committee has continued to meet regularly remotely via Zoom throughout the Coronavirus crisis and work is continuing on Bridleway research and development and other projects. We are closely monitoring Government advice as of course we want to reinstate our Rides Programme and see you all again just as soon as it is safe and possible to do so.
EBA is a BHS affiliated Equestrian Access Group. This means that our Public Liability Insurance which is a requirement for our events is through the BHS scheme. Accordingly and in the light of the latest Government advice we have this week approached the BHS to obtain an indication as to whether we will have Insurance Cover and can therefore look to start our Rides. We now have a response and this confirms that the BHS does not presently advise that any organised Pleasure Rides or Sponsored Rides should take place. Obviously this situation will be subject to change as the risks recede and we do assure you that we will continue to monitor the situation and keep you advised.
