What a fantastic evening we shared with Committee Members past and present, Members, Project Workers and friends of EBA over the past 40 years.
It was lovely to see some very influential faces from our past such as Katie Haines and Julie Pryor. Our Chair, Julia Wilson paid Tribute to Dorothy Graham our Founder now in her nineties. Julia explained that she had been able to speak with Dorothy and although she was not able to attend she remains interested and Julia will be talking to her after the meeting to let her know all about the proceedings!
A presentation was also made to former Trustee and Update Editor, Carol Allison who has done so much for the organisation. Lovely to see former Trustee and former Website Editor, Hilary Clifford too.
Special thanks to Alison Craigmile our Membership Secretary who organised the Buffet and Lesley Gillman who baked the stupendous 40th cake! Various Committee Members involved in the preparation of the informative Display Boards. Great to welcome Simon from Essex County Council who was also happy to take questions about Bridleways queries. All in all a great night and here is to the next 40 years!
