Terms and conditions

1. EBA does not accept any liability whatsoever for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness of horse(s), owner(s), rider(s), spectator(s) or any other person(s) or property or ground.

2. EBA reserves the right to cancel the Ride, alter the route or time of riding or refuse entry without stating a reason and without incurring any costs.

3. Entry fees are not returnable nor transferable to another Ride if for any reason a rider fails to start except in the event of EBA cancelling the Ride.

4. Rider substitutions are not permitted.

5. Riders under 18 years of age must be in the charge of an adult.

6. Stallions must be declared on the entry form and must wear a blue ribbon in the tail.

7. Hard hats, appropriate riding footwear and fluorescent safety wear must be worn.  It is strongly recommended that your hat meets current BHS standards.

8. EBA may require a horse to be withdrawn if it considers the horse to be distressed, unfit, improperly shod/trimmed or a danger to persons or other horses or property.

9. Participants must keep to the marked route of the Ride and avoid trespassing onto neighbouring land.

10. Riders must not overtake other riders unless they ask first, and then do so at a safe pace.

11. Any droppings, litter or hay must be picked up before leaving.

12. EBA may use any photographs taken at the event for publicity purposes.

13. Non-members of EBA must have public liability insurance cover.

14. Dogs must be kept on leads in the parking, start and finish areas.  Please clear up after your dog. Dogs may not accompany riders on the ride.

15. Covid 19 – rides are being run in accordance with current government rules and guidance, and riders must respect and follow EBA’s instructions.
